What Would Kafka Say? #1

"Let the bad remain bad, otherwise it will grow worse."

Written on a slip of paper while in a sanatorium dying of tuberculosis of the larynx. Undated, but sometime in 1924, the year of his death.

He was able to touch the real world, simply as it is, without trying to make it better, make it more understandable; it is not and never will be, as long as we will be only human beings.
